Grace and Connor’s vision was rooted in timeless elegance — a classic hotel wedding that leaned into the natural beauty of the season rather than competing with it. St Julien, with its locally owned warmth and unobstructed Flatiron views, was the perfect home for the day. June in Boulder is special — the flowers are at their peak, the Flatirons take on a softness in the long evening light, and there’s a kind of fresh, optimistic energy to the start of summer that filters into every moment.

Getting Ready at St Julien

The morning began softly in the bridal suite at St Julien, quiet light, beautifully styled details, and that hum of anticipation that only a wedding morning carries. Grace’s getting ready details were stunning! Every layer thoughtfully considered, the kind of bridal styling that makes a photographer’s job feel like a gift 🙂

Portraits at Chautauqua Park

We drove the short ten minutes to Chautauqua Park for wedding party, family, and couple portraits. There’s no Boulder backdrop quite like it. The Flatirons rising directly behind you, the meadows lush and green from June rains, the light at that hour catching every blade of grass.

Grace and Connor’s couple portraits at Chautauqua hold a quiet kind of magic. There’s something about standing in front of those iconic Boulder mountains, freshly married, that slows everything down.

Ceremony on the Redgarden Lawn

Grace and Connor were married outdoors on the Redgarden Lawn. St Julien’s iconic ceremony space with uninterrupted views of the Flatirons. It was a hot June afternoon, the kind where the sun feels close. Thoughtful planning saved the day: beautiful parasols offered to guests added an elegant, unexpected touch while providing relief from the heat. It was one of those small details that elevated the day from beautiful to truly considered.

The ceremony itself unfolded with the kind of warmth that photographs don’t quite capture but you can feel in every frame.
